Are you a freelancer? Are you confused which money transfer method is best for you? Do you have some relatives abroad and you want them to send you money to your country? Or do you need to send money to your loved ones in their country and you wanted to know which money transfer service is best for you? Then this post is for you.
Here I will guide you how you can find the best money transfer service for you.
If you are a freelancer and making online money, then obviously you are working on a freelancing site like Fiverr, Upwork or any other. If this is the case then you have to find what options do you have in your account?
Like if we take an example of Upwork, then you might have different options such as Payoneer card, Paypal, Skrill, Direct Bank Transfer, Wire Transfer, Western Union and might be some more.
The first thing which you should know is what options do you have in your country? Like UpWork is offering Paypal service, but Paypal is not available in Pakistan. So, if I am working on Upwork and I live in Pakistan, then I can’t opt this option no matter what rate Paypal is offering.
After knowing the available options, the next thing you should know is what will be the charges of sending money to your freelance account to the money transfer company like Skrill, Payoneer or direct to your bank account. After those charges, you should also know if there are some charges associated with the money transfer from the company you use to your local bank account.
If there are some charges, take it into account and then find what will be the currency conversion rate you get. After adding all these charges, select the best money transfer company for your money.
On the other side, if you are not a freelancer, or you don’t work on a freelancing site and you need to receive money directly from your client without the intervention of a third-party site, or if you want to receive money from your friend or family member then, in that case, you have to repeat the same procedure.
In my opinion, Western Union is a good option but still, you need to do a detailed wire money comparison. Money Gram is also a good option, but it is expensive in my opinion. Though you get your money on the same day, but there are many charges involved with the Money Gram.
If your country has Paypal option, then this is the best and safe option to get your money anywhere anytime. But if your country doesn’t have the Paypal, then Western Union is acceptable as well.
